## Can anyone tell me the approximate value of an Italian-made 12ga. O/U## shotgun made by Antonio Zoli? It is a model 281, serial #512651, sold by## Sears, Roebuck & Co., which I bought about 25 years ago. It has## chrome-lined barrels Mod/Full & two triggers. Angelo Zoli's were decent, reasonably priced shotguns, and I guess#Antonio's were even better!##keith whaley##There are 5 Sears Model 281.xxxxxx shotguns made by Antonio Zoli, and AngeloZoli (no relation) made shotguns similarily priced ( Angelo went out ofbusiness in 1987, and was taken over by the Bank of Brescia in 1989). Therefrequently is no distinction between the guns in name between Angelo andAntonio, and many can be found with A. Zoli stamped on them. You have to knowthe model name to tell the difference. The parts are not inter changeable,either.

The Blue Book of Gun Values onlylists current production from that company, so I cannot identify the particularmodel you have. Most of current production o/u similar to yours run about $500in 98% condition. My guess if it has Sears name on it, it will be worth less,and the double triggers may bring the price down, too. Parts are availablefrom Cape Outfitters in Cape Girardeau, MO.
